A new look for Whitebox

A New Look For Whitebox

The sharp eyed among you will have spotted our Instagram story a couple of weeks ago about our first ever professional photoshoot. You may have wondered what this was all about?

It all started with a decision to think a lot bigger about Whitebox. For a long time, the business was focused on van racking, flooring and van accessories. But the more we listened to the problems that keep our customers up late at night - the paperwork, spinning lots of different plates, chasing up late payers - the more we realised that we had something more to offer as a company.

Our founder, Mark Cropley, set up his first business in commercial vehicle repairs in 2004, and has worked in the van fit out industry ever since. He's an entrepreneur at heart. His business partner and MD, Denyse Whillier, is an experienced former CEO,  who now runs her own business consultancy, Built To Succeed. Denyse advises small business owners, including from the trades and construction industry, on how to start, grow and scale their business.

Over the past few months, we've had a series of conversations about how Whitebox can help tradespeople to solve their most pressing problems. These problems often come down to time.

  • Time to get the paperwork done.

  • Time to send out quotes and invoices promptly.

  • Time to chase up late payers.

  • Time to put in place future plans to come off the tools.

  • Time for hobbies and interests.

  • Time to spend with family and friends.

This inspired us to use our collective experience to expand what Whitebox offers to become the home of the organised tradesman.

We decided to go for a bold, new look as part of our transition from van racking specialists to becoming the home of the organised tradesman. It's a radical departure from anything you've seen before and we hope you like it.

To achieve this new look, we asked Lewes based commercial photographer, Simon Eldon, for help. Simon had created a stunning collection of photographs for one of Denyse's clients, local firm, Vertex Joinery. And we loved the gritty, industrial images he showcased on his website.

Here are just a few images from the shoot. We hope you love them as much as we do.
